NO HIDDEN CHARGES.

DURING WORKING HOURS 9am AND 5.30pm our service charge is £85.00 plus any parts used, we do not charge any extra for week end work.

For example to replace a standard ERA cylinder will be £95.00 inclusive in the areas we cover.

To supply and fit a (Standard) British Standard deadlock will be £130.00 inclusive in areas we cover.

Any lock other than a standard deadlock, we will quote accordingly. 

If it is an opening and replacing of a lock allow £5.00 extra

If it is for a UPVC door lock, the service charge will be £85.00 plus any parts, the average for opening and replacing of a UPVC gear box is in the region of £165.00 (subject to lock) this will include parts VAT and labour.

To replace a standard Euro cylinder the cost would be in the region of £120.00 If it is an anti-snap 3 star cylinder it would be in the range of £140 to £150.  Inclusive.

To replace or fit a standard rim lock with an ERA British Standard or Yale British Standard Yale lock will be £175 inclusive

REMEMBER, our aim is to open locks in a non destructive manner if possible...BUT...if our engineers need to drill locks, the cost to replace would be at approximate retail costs.

For a front door, the recommendation by Insurance companies state a British Standard lock is installed to BS3621 requirements.

WE PASS THESE LOCKS UP FOR YOU IF YOU REQUIRE THEM FITTING TOGETHER

The ideal lock would be an ERA BS night latch fitted with an ERA BS Deadlock..these come in various finishes.

Each lock fitted separately would be £175.00

The cost of fitting of both locks keyed alike would be in the region of £280.00 inclusive of VAT

When you are obtaining quotes from various locksmith companies be aware that many will only quote a call out price and you will then find yourself in the situation of a locksmith arriving, completing the job and an unexpected bill.

Be cautious, ask questions, as in many industries especially the locksmith trade there are many individuals who are not in fact skilled in the profession claimed.

Do you have an hourly labour rate?
